• God demonstrates His grace…
  1. By appearing to Abraham
  2. By revealing His plans to Abraham
     1. Plans to bless Abraham and Sarah with a son
     2. Plans to judge the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah
  3. By allowing Abraham to negotiate with Him
  4. By sending His angelic messengers to investigate Sodom and Gomorrah
• God demonstrates His justice by destroying Sodom and Gomorrah
• God continues to demonstrate grace to Lot while allowing him to suffer the consequences of his poor choices.
• How about us?
  1. The Lord is just.
  2. The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
  3. You can take Lot's daughters out of Sodom, but without a heart change, you can't take the Sodom out of Lot's daughters.
  4. Be careful about how you seek to influence godless people.
  5. Abraham and Lot are a study in contrasts.
  6. We are without excuse.
