• Observations
  1. Abraham took another wife and had additional sons.
  2. Abraham died and was buried by his sons Ishmael and Isaac.
  3. Ishmael also had descendants and became great.
• Applications
  1. God does not owe us anything, but instead we receive His gift of righteousness by faith.
  2. Abraham is the father of those who truly believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
  3. Our faith is proven by our obedience.
  4. There is hope for the Ishmaels of the world.
  5. God is faithful, even when we are not.
